3. Scrooge (1951)

There are 16 movie and TV adaptations of Charles Dickens’ novel A Christmas Carol. However, the movie made in 1951 that stars Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge is the one that we love the most.

The movie shows the story of a grumpy businessman who disses the spirit of Christmas any chance he gets. Mr. Scrooge is visited by three spirits that show him the error of his ways as he undergoes a transformation.

1. A Christmas Story (1983)
