In a dramatic turn of events, ex-Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik got married to the popular Pakistani Actress Sana Javed on January 20, ’24. The news of this marriage also confirmed the separation between Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza.
Sana Javed is a Pakistani TV Actress. She made her debut in 2012 with Shehr-e-Zaat and later went on to do many TV serials. She received recognition after portraying the titular role in the romantic drama Khaani for which she received a nomination at the Lux Style Awards. Javed gained praise for her social-based dramas Ruswai and Dunk and the former earned her the PISA Award for Best Actress Critics.
Sania Mirza got married to Shoaib Malik on April 12, 2010, in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim ceremony at the Taj Krishna Hotel. A few days ago, the rumours of the divorce between Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik resurfaced after a cryptic message posted by Sania Mirza on her social media handle. Sania Mirza posted,” Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard.” And now Shoaib Malik has surprised everyone by posting pictures of his wedding with Sana Javed on social media.
Sana Javed has also posted the wedding pictures on her social media and even changed her name to Sana Shoaib Malik. This is Shoaib Malik’s third marriage. His first marriage with Ayesha Siddiqui lasted only for 8 years and Shoaib Malik had earlier denied getting married to Ayesha but Ayesha showed the video clips of them getting married and then Shoaib Malik divorced her days after getting married to Sania Mirza in April 2010 with an alimony of 15 Crore as per the reports.
Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik were blessed with a son named Izhaan Mirza Malik after 8 years of their marriage in 2018.
