After leading Mumbai Indians for 10 years and helping the franchise to win 5 IPL titles, Rohit Sharma has been replaced by Hardik Pandya as the captain of the franchise for the upcoming season of IPL. This news has not gone down well with the Mumbai Indians fans across the world. While some of the fans saw it as an expected move, others called it a bad move resulting the loss of followers for the franchise across social media platforms.
On their Instagram account, CSK posted a video showcasing Rohit’s leadership throughout the years. The 36-year-old shares the record for most successful captain in IPL history with CSK captain MS Dhoni, having captained the team to five titles.
